Gardening Workshop with The HOME Project

We were delighted to collaborate with The HOME Project on a gardening workshop, which took place following a proposal by Dolly Boucoyannis.

Children from The HOME Project’s shelters took part in the process, preparing the soil, planting, and watering carob and oak seeds, while we discussed the importance of plants, forests, and green spaces for our city, its residents, the environment, and the climate.

The planted seeds, along with the young saplings that will emerge, will remain under the children’s care until spring and are then expected to be transplanted either in the forest or in urban areas of Athens.
